Chief Technology & Commerce Officer (CTO)

Eden Digital is looking for a technology leader who wants to build!

We're expanding our commerce practice and looking for a Chief Technology & Commerce Officer to help us build the next generation of Eden Digital.

Our ambition is significant: become one of the most respected commerce partners in the Shopify ecosystem, achieve Platinum-level Shopify partner recognition, expand our mid-market and enterprise reach, and build a platform-agnostic mentality while leveraging Shopify and competitor technologies to solve increasingly complex commerce challenges.

This isn't a traditional agency CTO position.

We're looking for someone who can move comfortably between technology, commerce, clients, partnerships, and growth.

You might spend one day helping a client solve a complex ERP, PIM, data, or integration challenge; the next working with Shopify on a strategic opportunity; the next evaluating how AI can enhance and transform our commerce operations and workflow; and the next helping our leadership team determine what capabilities Eden needs to build, partner for, or acquire.

What You'll Build

You'll own the technology and commerce vision for Eden Digital, including:

• Building and scaling our Shopify practice
• Developing deep relationships throughout the Shopify ecosystem
• Leading complex commerce architecture, integrations, and solution design
• Building capabilities around ERP, OMS, PIM, CRM, data, and third-party technologies
• Establishing Eden's AI and emerging technology strategy
• Connecting technology decisions directly to conversion, customer experience, and revenue growth
• Helping win and lead larger mid-market and enterprise commerce engagements
• Building a high-performing technology organization
• Developing a broader, platform-agnostic commerce practice
• Helping determine where Eden should build, buy, or partner as we scale

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a builder, strategist, and technologist with deep digital commerce experience.

Ideally, you've spent time on both sides of the table—inside a retailer, manufacturer, or digital brand and within an agency, consultancy, or commerce technology company.

You understand Shopify deeply, but your experience goes well beyond Shopify. You understand how commerce platforms connect with ERP, OMS, PIM, CRM, payments, search, customer data, marketing technology, analytics, and the increasingly important AI ecosystem.

You're technical enough to earn the respect of engineers and architects but commercial enough to sit with a CEO, CIO, CTO, or CMO and explain how technology can solve a business problem.

You're connected. You know people across Shopify and the broader commerce ecosystem and enjoy building relationships that create opportunities for clients and partners.

Compensation

Base salary: Commensurate with experience.
Performance compensation: Executive incentive tied to company and practice growth.
